ABOUT

When I was 14 years old, I realized that I was never going to be a professional jockey (too big, too tall); so I did the next best thing: a master of fine arts at Konstfack Stockholm, a job at Mekano film production and photography at a Swedish fashion Magazine called:“Bible”.

I passed maniac hours in the photolab dark room, (good thing that there is no sun in Sweden during winter time). I was 24/7 in the editing room and, to be truthful, spent a good amount of time at the 7/11 convenience store buying survival snacks. The result was my first short film, which garnered much praise and attention from the Swedish press and film community and did open up the door for my first job as a director.

After working consistently in commercials and music videos, I took a break in order to do another master degree at Film Academy Baden Württemberg in Germany. At this time I moved deeper into the world of documentaries, shortfilms, and scriptwriting, strengthening my work as a commercial di- rector and completed several short films and documentaries that were shown on television and in festivals. Sick and tired of grey skies, I moved to LA, which gave my new projects a sunny touch and me, a big smile. My endless hours in the darkroom of a photo lab finally paid off as they sensitized my eyes for light & shadows, beauty and atmosphere of a picture.

I got addicted to the world of beauty and fashion. Beauty clients like Triumph, Sloggi, Garnier, Procter & Gamble and Nivea followed. I love to show the beauty in all kind of fields either it is a model or an old woman, a horse or a landscape. I yearn to find beauty in every single frame. My passions are photography and film, fast horses and good food. If I could combine all three I would be the happiest person on earth!
